Pune one of the best cities to live in India

A 2013 survey by a non-profit organization named Janaagraha sought opinion from people about the quality of life in 11 Indian cities. Based on the survey, Pune emerged as one of the best cities to live in India.

What makes Pune one of the best?

There are several reasons for that. To start with, Pune has a people-friendly policy system in place. Most people that participated in the survey lauded the ease of dealing with government offices in Pune. What also tips the balance in favor of Pune is the low crime rate. In fact, Pune is regarded as one of the safest cities of India.

There is growth

Over the past decade or so, Pune has become the IT hub of India, along with Bangalore. It has resulted in an influx of people from other states of the country, and from across the globe as well.
The influx of people has resulted in a push for infrastructure development in the city. According to experts, Pune is one of the most promising real estate destinations of India.
Scores of housing and commercial projects are coming up in the city, catering to the modern needs of the young crowd. There are plush residential communities in bustling areas such as Kalyani Nagar, and budget housing too in suburban areas of the city.

Where to live in Pune?

The answer to that question depends on what exactly you are looking for. Over the years, Pune has transformed itself into a city which has something for everybody. If you are looking to be amidst the action, there is nothing better than settling down in Kalyani Nagar Pune.

The neighborhood enjoys a fantastic location. It is close to the airport, railway station, Kharadi, and also the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. The ideal location has meant that most IT/ITeS companies their offices here.  Thus, commuting to and from work won’t be a hassle too if you are living in Kalyani Nagar, Pune.
There are plenty of good residential projects in the area. Verde in Kalyani Nagar is a project worth looking at.

For retirement

While Kalyani Nagar is for those who enjoy life in the fast lane, Pune offers a solace for retirement too. In fact, in a recent survey, Pune was also voted as one of the best cities to retire in India, along with Dehradun and Goa.

Askarwadi is one area where you can enjoy a laidback lifestyle amidst beautiful greenery while still remaining connected to the rest of the city. In fact, many real estate players have developed housing in the area meant specifically for retirees. Clover Renaissance Pune is one such residential project, aimed at people who are hanging up their boots and want to live life in the slow lane.

The future looks promising too

According to the survey conducted by Janaagraha, most people were optimistic about the future of the city. Most people expected the quality of life in Pune to improve further, which would push growth even more. Thus, even if you are just looking to invest, Pune is a good bet.
